FSC Digital Tools: Explainer Video
I was tasked with creating an explainer video for FSC Trace that clearly communicated their traceability system and its role in promoting sustainable forestry practices. The goal was to make a complex, standards-driven process understandable and engaging for a broad audience.
I began by breaking down the system into key components and storyboarding the narrative. I used animation to simplify technical concepts, combining graphic elements, iconography, and subtle motion to guide the viewer through each step. Careful attention was given to pacing, clarity, and brand consistency, ensuring the visuals aligned with FSC’s identity while remaining approachable.
The Result
The final edit effectively explains the FSC Trace process in a concise and engaging way, making the content accessible for both industry professionals and the general public. Through this project, I reinforced how thoughtful animation can make technical information accessible and visually compelling, balancing clarity with interest.
